Open Positions

We need men willing to walk alongside our boys. Here's where you can serve.

Trailmaster

Navigators
Ages 11–13

Coach middle-school boys as they take on greater responsibility through backpacking, canoeing, survival skills, service projects, and deeper study of their faith.

Commitment: 2–3 events/month
Requires: Christian man, age 21+

Advisor

Adventurers
Ages 14–17

Mentor young men through high-adventure expeditions, leadership development, and the Freedom Award capstone — Trail Life's highest honor — preparing them for life as godly men.

Commitment: 2–3 events/month
Requires: Christian man, age 21+

Trail Guides

Support Role
Age 18+

Assist a Ranger, Trailmaster, or Advisor in delivering the program week-to-week. A great way to serve alongside experienced leaders without committing to a full patrol-lead role — perfect for college-age men, dads, or grandfathers.

Commitment: Flexible
Requires: Christian man, age 18+

Committee Members

Behind the Scenes
All Welcome

Keep the troop running smoothly without weekly youth contact. Open roles include Advancement (tracking badge progress), Outdoor Activities (planning campouts and trips), Quartermaster (gear and supplies), Membership (registration and recruitment), and Secretary.

Commitment: Monthly meeting + role work
Requires: Background check + training
Safety & Training: All adult leaders complete a nationwide background check and Trail Life Child Safety & Youth Protection training. We're committed to a safe, Christ-centered environment for every boy in the troop.
